A service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held at 11.30am on Wednesday 28th August at All Saints Church, Hessle followed by a committal at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby. It is the family's request that bright clothing to be worn at the service. Family flowers only, but donations to the Daisy Appeal may be sent direct or left at the service. Passed away peacefully on 31st July 2024, aged 82 years. A dearly loved wife of the late Brain, now reunited. A much loved mum to Jonathan, Philip and Rachael. Reunited with partner Ashley. Loved by his Sister in law, Niece and Nephews. Youngest son of the late Ethel and Clifford Garnett. Brother of the late Clifford, Lily and Brian. Long serving nurse at Hull Royal Infirmary. Funeral to be held on 2nd September at 11:30am at Haltemprice Crematorium followed by a private interment at a later date. With a massive hole in our hearts we sadly announce the death of our mam, nanna and great nanna Janet George, who sadly passed away suddenly on the 1st August 2024 at HRI. You was the one link that linked us altogether, we will miss you forever, I wish we could pick the phone up just one more time to hear your voice, sleep tight you was one in a million. you will be missed by your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. There's a hole in our hearts that no one can fill, night night we all love you, we wouldn't change you for the world, now reunited with her mam, dad, sisters and brother and her beloved son Shane. Steven 'Francis' HOLMES
Passed away on Thursday 1st August 2024 aged 39 years. Loving husband of Claire, devoted dad of Jake and Finlee, much loved son of John, the late Denise and step son of Lynda. Special loved brother of Carl, Michael, Shaun and Bradley, a dearly loved grandson of Margaret and Granny Annie, adored brother in law, son in law, uncle and friend. A celebration of Steven's life will be held at St Nicholas Church, Beverley on Friday 23rd August at 12noon followed by private interment. Eira was an active parishioner of St Mary's Church and the local community and will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew her. (Kath) Kathleen Ivy Vassilakopoulos Born 15/02/1942 Passed away 21/07/2024 Sadly an amazing wife, mum, and grandma and soon to be great grandma, unfortunately got taken from us. She had been battling with MND for a couple of years now, but we only found out 6 months ago. Even though she was battling an awful disease she was still the same old person we all loved. She was a strong fighter and always will be an inspiration. Even throughout battling on with MND, she was always concerned and worried about everyone else as that's the amazing caring women she was.
