The Powerball lottery drawing for Wednesday, July 24, 2024 has finally held after a more than 30-minute delay due to technical difficulties.

The lottery jackpot was an estimated $114 million with a cash option of $54.6 million for Wednesday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website.

The jackpot was last won on July 3 when an Ohio lottery player won the $139.3 million jackpot.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot is at $306 million for Friday's drawing with a cash option of $143.8 million,according to the Mega Millions website.
